Job summary

Vylor Inc. seeks a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to operate and repair diverse plant equipment at the Corteva site. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot controls, and support safety programs.

Strong PLC and SAP experience, plus proficiency with MS Office, are required. Willingness to work outdoors/indoors and overtime during peak seasons is essential.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrical experience required.
• Experience with automation and PLCs.
• Experience with SAP or similar work-order system.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to maintain production equipment including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control devices.
• Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections.
• Support safety programs and regulatory compliance (OSHA, PSM).
• Maintain detailed equipment records and prints.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, for process and facility
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures
• Review and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance
• Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including environmental regulations, OSHA, PSM, and Corteva’s safety procedures in everyday work routine
• Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including the addition of new devices, and hardware
• Journeyman Electrical experience
• You are comfortable with technology and possess good a computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as required
• Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand, and sit for extended periods, Work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to 50 lbs.
• You are willing and able to maintain detailed equipment records and prints as required
• You will always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day
• You value serving our customers and know operations must be supported for optimal uptime.
• You are willing and able to work overtime and shift hours, which include weekends and holidays during seasonal peaks to support production demand
• Experience with a work order and part inventory system
• Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
• Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, Motors and Gearmotors, instrumentation and controls, HVAC, and general maintenance experience).
• Experience with an SAP (or similar system) for work orders and parts inventory

The salary range for this position is $74,457.00 to $92,660.00.

This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.
