The Port Authority of NY & NJ is seeking skilled Industrial/Commercial Electricians responsible for installation, maintenance, and repairs of electrical equipment. This position involves working on generators, fire alarm systems, and traffic controls across multiple facilities. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma, three years of relevant experience, and possess a Class B Commercial Driver's License.

With a starting salary of $80,204 yearly, this role offers the chance for annual increases and a supportive benefits package. Candidates must be prepared to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualificações

• Three years of journey-level commercial electrician work experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Skilled in installing and repairing lighting systems, motors, and controllers.

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain, and repair various electrical equipment.
• Work on projects related to generators, fire alarm systems, and traffic signals.
• Splice cables and install types of electrical wiring.

Conhecimentos

Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment

Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
