Job summary

Winchester Ammunition in Independence, MO is hiring an Electrician to support maintenance and manufacturing operations at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical systems for high-speed automated equipment, power distribution, and facility infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with relevant electrical training.
• Certifications or diploma from an accredited trade/school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, motor drives, and electrical systems on high-speed equipment.
• Perform preventive and emergency electrical maintenance on automated machinery.
• Install and repair electrical switchgear and building power distribution.
• Route and install conduit and wiring per NEC and plant standards.
