Job summary

Schumann Printers, Inc. (SPI) is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our Maintenance team in a clean, temperature-controlled production environment.

You will work with high-speed presses, bindery equipment, motors, drives, PLCs, and electrical systems across our facility, troubleshooting and repairing as needed. We value safety, quality, and reliability, and offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical work in a high-speed manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of motors, drives and varying voltage ranges with PLC exposure.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on production equipment and facility systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and electrical prints.
• Use multimeters and diagnostic tools to trace problems across voltage ranges.
• Support PLCs and automated equipment controls.
• Maintain and repair AC/DC motors, drives, and power systems.
• Perform electrical preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Assist with mechanical maintenance when needed.
• Ensure electrical systems for printing presses and related equipment run reliably.
• Identify issues before production interruptions occur.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
