Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and repair the problem.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and ensure code compliance.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specs and local codes.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or lifts to install or repair wiring and fixtures.
• Complete assigned work orders and enter completed jobs in the computer system.
