Job summary

MKD Electric is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You will bend conduit, pull wire, terminate power and control cables, and install electrical gear across diverse projects.

Expect opportunities to work with PLCs, AC/DC drives, and motor control systems. The role requires 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience and strong knowledge of the NEC and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards.
• Proven experience in electrical field.
• Knowledgeable of single and three phase motors and motor control systems
• Must be safety conscious
• 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities

• Bend and install rigid conduit
• Set up and pull wire and cable
• Terminate power, control, and instrumentation wire and cable
• Install electrical gear, equipment, and devices
• Install and troubleshoot PLC's
• Install and troubleshoot AC and DC Drives
• Read/comprehend tape measure, blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, formulas, and processing charts
