Job summary
Manufacturing-Maintenance-Solutions- in Pekin, IL is seeking an Industrial Electrician/Controls Technician to troubleshoot and repair CNC and PLC systems, read wiring diagrams, and keep production moving on a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule with overtime.
You will work hands-on with CNC machines, Allen-Bradley PLCs, drives and motors, performing preventive maintenance and supporting upgrades.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of industrial electrical experience.
- Experience with 480V, 3-phase systems and schematics/prints.
- Experience in manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase).
- Diagnose and fix PLC issues (Allen-Bradley focus).
- Work on CNC machines and machine tool systems.
- Repair motors, VFDs, control panels, and components.
- Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Support equipment installs, upgrades, and improvements.
- Respond to breakdowns and get machines back online quickly.
