Industrial Electricians at SDC are primarily responsible for machine wiring and electrical assembly to exact specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Familiarity with pneumatic systems is a plus.
• Ability to work with project teams and coordinate activities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate lift trucks/cranes.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of time.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire custom machines according to engineering specs.
• Panel building and wiring.
• Primarily electrical work with some mechanical and pneumatic assembly.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts for installations.
• Plan layouts and install wiring, fixtures, and control equipment in cabinets.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve machine issues with the project team.
• Support with acceptance testing and potential on-site start-up.
• Assist with packing and packaging of outgoing machinery.
• Maintain workplace safety and cleanliness.
