Job summary

Newmark is seeking an Electrical Technician for our world-class chemical sciences research campus. The role covers operations, maintenance, and repair of UPS, AHUs, exhaust and steam systems, and air compressors.

Experience with Siemens or Honeywell building automation is a plus; strong ability to read schematics and calibrate equipment is required. The candidate will work on-site in a 480-volt industrial environment, troubleshoot frequency drives and PLCs, and ensure 100% uptime.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or trade school certificate in electrical or instrumentation.
• Minimum five years industrial electrical experience.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and specification manuals.
• Must be able to perform maintenance tasks including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be a team player in a quality environment.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Repair and calibration of commercial building electrical equipment and control systems.
• Read and follow technical manuals and procedures.
