Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking an experienced industrial electrician in the Prince George, Virginia area to install, maintain, and repair complex electrical and control systems up to 4160 volts. You will work on safety systems, DCS/PLC equipment, and calibration of sensors, with a focus on reliability and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Journeyman-level license or equivalent apprenticeship and 2+ years in an industrial setting, with strong troubleshooting and math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Journeyman-level electrician or completion of state-certified apprenticeship in utility systems, industrial plant, process plant, or power plant with motor controls and 4160-volt experience.
• 2 years of experience in electronic and/or pneumatic control systems repair and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair utility electrical systems up to 4160 volts.
• Install and maintain safety systems (emergency lighting, fire alarms, UPS, battery, and utility comms).
• Install, repair, replace, and calibrate control system equipment (transmitters, valves, regulators, sensors).
• Maintain control equipment including DCS, PLC, and related computers.
• Troubleshoot and maintain utility control systems including boilers and machinery.
