Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for nights and weekends to support critical plant operations. This 3rd shift role requires troubleshooting of PLCs, VFDs, and high‑voltage systems, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will install, maintain, and repair 240V and 460V three‑phase systems, read schematics and blueprints, and participate in on‑call rotations. Training is provided on 1st shift before transition to off‑shift.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial/manufacturing electrician experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently on off-shift.
• Experience with PLCs (Siemens a plus) and high‑voltage equipment (up to 600V).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair 240V & 460V three‑phase electrical systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control issues on industrial machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep production running.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC logic, and blueprints.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and analog signals.
• Support emergency repairs and participate in an on‑call rotation.
• Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and EHS procedures.
• Occasionally assist with minor mechanical repairs.
