Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years electrical experience or electronics program completion.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical problems.
• PLC experience is required.
• Must be able to wire motor control circuits and push-button circuits.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install, and wire electrical apparatus, devices, and circuits.
• Read wiring diagrams and instructions to plan repair work.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
• Consider safety precautions and isolate circuits properly.
• Determine tools and equipment needed for jobs.
• Plan procedures using knowledge of electrical principles and codes.
• Locate trouble sources by tracing and testing circuits.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
