Job summary

Litehouse Inc. in Lowell, MA is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for 1st shift. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems to keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.

You will collaborate with maintenance and production teams, follow NEC and safety standards, and be prepared for overtime and holidays as required. A Journeyman license and apprenticeship are required to qualify for this role.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of industrial electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid Journeyman Industrial or Commercial Electrician license.
• Completion of an industrial electrical apprenticeship or vocational training program.
• Strong NEC knowledge and preventive maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting 480V three-phase, 120V AC, and low-voltage DC electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and installation drawings.
• Willingness to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot 480VAC 3-phase, 120V AC, and low voltage DC systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Inspect electrical systems and components to identify issues and ensure code compliance.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment to locate and correct causes.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components per codes.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to plan and execute electrical installations.
• Observe safety regulations and PPE to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities and report hazards.
• Must be able to work any day/shift and overtime as needed.

Are you the person everyone calls when production goes down? Do you enjoy troubleshooting complex electrical systems, solving problems quickly, and keeping critical equipment running? If so, Litehouse Foods is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to help power our manufacturing operations.

In this role, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems while partnering with maintenance and production teams to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and uptime.

What you will do

• Diagnose and troubleshoot 480VAC 3-phase, 120V AC, and low voltage DC systems and industrial electrical equipment to ensure efficient and continuous operation.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand, power, and precision measuring tools.
• Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components following electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to plan and execute electrical installations.
• Observe and follow all safety regulations and policies, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities, and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Must be able to work any day, including holidays, or any shift and/or overtime as required.

What you bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an industrial electrical apprenticeship or vocational training program required.
• Valid Journeyman Industrial or Commercial Electrician license required.
• 7-10 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
• Experience troubleshooting 480V three-phase, 120V AC, and low-voltage DC electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), industrial controls, electrical safety practices, and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in the safe and effective use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and voltage testers.
• Proficiency using electrical testing equipment, reading schematics, and diagnosing complex electrical issues.
• Ability to perform work accurately and methodically, ensuring proper connections, secure installations, and compliance with specifications, drawings, and safety requirements
• Willingness to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Possession of a valid journey level industrial or commercial electrical license.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for electrical work.
