Job summary

ZealoTech People is seeking a skilled trades electrician to support production equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, PLC, CNC, HMI, and robotics systems,read electrical drawings, and perform preventive maintenance on complex machinery.

The role requires 3–8+ years of industrial electrical experience, own tools, and familiarity with safety standards. Knowledge of German or Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of verified industrial electrical experience
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, conveyors, and mechanical systems
• Must meet state requirements and follow ARC flash regulations
• Must have own tools (excluding specialty tools)
• Up-to-date technological training and experience with newer equipment
• German and/or Spanish language skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, PLC, CNC, HMI, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Read and troubleshoot electrical drawings and machine safety circuits.
• Perform Electrical Preventive Maintenance, inspections, wire harnesses, filters, and cable management.
• Install and program light curtains and laser distance sensors.
• Troubleshoot PLC protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet).
• Operate Mobile CMMS for reactive calls and preventive maintenance.
• Support Root Cause Analysis and Machine Reliability.
• Follow electrical safety, ARC flash, IATF, and PM requirements.
• Train/mentor new electricians and coordinate with vendors/contractors.
• 3–8+ years of verified Industrial Electrical experience and related equipment experience.

Job description

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Work around hazardous equipment and moderate to high noise levels; protective equipment required.
