Job summary

TWE Connects is hiring an Industrial Electrician in Atlanta, GA for a full-time, hybrid role focused on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in industrial settings. You will engage with power distribution, motors, controls, and instrumentation, read drawings, perform wiring, and document work with safety and regulatory compliance in mind.

Travel to local and regional client sites is expected; mileage reimbursement and per diem may apply for qualifying trips.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial electrical skills including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power distribution, motors and control systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems and instrumentation in industrial environments.

Role Description

The Industrial Electrician opening is a full-time role based in Atlanta, GA. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment in industrial and infrastructure environments, including power distribution, motors, controls, and instrumentation. The Industrial Electrician will interpret electrical drawings and schematics, perform wiring and terminations, test systems, and support commissioning, shutdowns, and upgrades. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with project managers, integrators, and facility teams, documenting work performed, and following safety procedures and regulatory standards. The role requires traveling to client sites in the region, working in live facilities and construction environments, and adapting to changing project scopes while maintaining high-quality execution.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial electrical skills, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power distribution, motors, and control systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems, instrumentation, and integration with mechanical and process equipment.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices in industrial environments.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment (multimeters, megohm meters, loop testers) and document findings clearly.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with owners, integrators, and facility teams.
• Demonstrated reliability, problem-solving mindset, and ownership of assigned scopes in live facilities or construction sites.
• Relevant trade school, apprenticeship, or journeyperson-level training in industrial electrical work; appropriate licenses or certifications are a plus.
• Comfort working in a hybrid arrangement based in Atlanta, GA, with readiness to travel to local and regional client sites as needed. Mileage reimbursement and/or per diem will be provided for qualifying travel based on project location.
• Experience in commissioning, shutdown support, system upgrades, or project execution in industrial or infrastructure environments is highly beneficial.
