Job summary

Velcro USA Inc. seeks a skilled Second Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician in Manchester, NH. You will perform skilled electrical maintenance on plant machinery and systems in an industrial setting, with focus on electrical/control systems and safe operation.

The role requires five years of electrical experience, PLC knowledge, and the ability to read diagrams. You will contribute to PM/PdM programs and collaborate with engineering and technicians.

Qualifications

• Five years of electrical and controls experience in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC drives and industrial control components.
• Good mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical diagrams and drawings.
• Proficient with electrical meters and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent communication and basic computer skills.
• Strong prioritization and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on all plant machinery and systems.
• Develop knowledge of electrical distribution and controls for new/relocated equipment.
• Maintain PM and PdM programs focusing on electrical and control systems.
• Assist with wiring, installation, and replacement of electrical components.
• Complete work orders, logs, and purchasing documents.
• Coordinate with contractors and engineering for modifications.
• Support ISO 14001 safety and environmental initiatives.
• Maintain safe work environment and follow OSHA procedures.
• Handle chemical storage areas and waste as required.
