Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in De Soto, Kansas, is seeking an Electrical Technician to support maintenance and troubleshooting of high‑voltage electrical systems in a 24/7 battery manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of electrical schematics and safety practices, and the ability to work 12‑hour day or night shifts. Training and cross‑functional collaboration are emphasized within a safety‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or 2 years of prior experience in functional area.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferred).
• Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred).
• PECNA approved Technical Training (preferred).
• Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform ET (Electrical Technician) and electrical preventive maintenance to support 24/7 plant operations.
• Provide ET support to the plant, including breaker resets, LOTO confirmation, ZVV checks.
• Perform regularly scheduled electrical system maintenance.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment in assigned areas.
• Capable of working all scheduled shifts.
