Job summary

Titan Wheel in Quincy, Illinois is hiring a full-time electrical technician to perform electrical work, installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and fixtures. Qualifications

Accredited technical school or apprenticeship preferred and/or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
Two years of technical education in electronics and/or five years of related experience.
Able to engineer, design, draw schematics, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Able to interpret maintenance manuals and technical information.
Proficient with electronic and PLC technology, electrical theory, NEC/OSHA/code compliance.
Experience with voltage up to 480V three phase.
Experience in an industrial environment.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and repairs.
Knowledge of applicable electrical code and trade practices.
Able to read sketches, diagrams, blueprints; capable with PLC programming and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical work and installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures.
Engineer, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment efficiently.
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics and blueprints.
Follow oral and written instructions and apply electrical codes and standards.
Utilize PLC programming and computer skills as needed.
