Job summary

Broadway Electric Service Corporation is recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial electrical construction from preconstruction through closeout. You will partner with superintendents, field leadership, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects financially and operationally on track.

The right candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of managing complex projects while solving challenges in the field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects.
• Experience with industrial electrical projects is required.
• 5+ years in a supervisory or leadership role with an electrical contractor preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and cost management.
• Completion of a nationally recognized electrical apprenticeship is preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with field and office teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple electrical construction projects from planning through completion.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and performance.
• Review contract requirements, project scope, and obligations.
• Participate in preconstruction, design coordination, budgeting, and estimating as needed.
• Staff projects with Superintendent and field leadership; ensure resources are available.
• Monitor progress against schedule, budget, quality standards, and specs.
• Identify issues early and develop solutions to keep projects moving.
• Maintain project budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Monitor costs, labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor performance.
• Track progress and value earned; manage monthly billing.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings.
• Manage change orders: pricing, submission, negotiation, approval.
