Job summary

Synteen Technical Fabrics, a Maccaferri Company, seeks an experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable operation of our Charlotte manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and preventively maintain electrical and electromechanical equipment across production lines, collaborating with maintenance and production teams.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, strong knowledge of electrical systems,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical training in electrical systems, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance or a related environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, motors, sensors, and industrial equipment.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when diagnosing equipment issues.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to work flexible hours and adjust to changing production and maintenance requirements.
Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver tools, equipment, and materials as required by the position.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and electromechanical equipment throughout the facility.
Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery, motors, controls, sensors, switches, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control systems, and equipment failures using appropriate testing equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.
Install, repair, modify, and maintain electrical components and systems as needed.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical and production equipment.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance needs.
Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
