Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking an Industrial Electrical Field Engineer to join our growing project team in Childress, TX. You will design and review electrical systems for power distribution, MCCs, lighting, and cable trays, and support on-site installation and commissioning on large industrial and heavy commercial projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM or ETAP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • EIT or PE license preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical design packages for power distribution, motor control centers, grounding, lighting, and cable tray systems.
  • Create and review one-line diagrams, load lists, panel schedules, and equipment sizing calculations.
  • Support equipment selection and technical evaluations for transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and UPS systems.
  • Provide engineering support during installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Review drawings, submittals, and resolve technical issues with vendors and project teams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and industry standards.

Industrial Electrical Field Engineer

Location: Childress, TX


Pay Range: $60/Hour

Education Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required

  • EIT or PE license preferred, or willingness to obtain


Experience Requirements


  • 5+ years of industrial electrical engineering experience preferred

  • Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, power generation, water/wastewater, or similar projects

  • Knowledge of power distribution systems, electrical equipment, and construction practices

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, ETAP, or comparable software
