Knobelsdorff Electric Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Estimator to join our electric division.

This remote role supports the estimating team by developing accurate cost estimates for industrial electrical projects, reviewing plans and specifications, and communicating findings to management and clients. The ideal candidate will use Accubid and Bluebeam to compile detailed breakdowns, develop material and labor estimates, and evaluate bids from suppliers and subcontractors.

Qualifikationen

• Experience estimating electrical construction projects, preferably industrial or data-center environments.
• Proficiency with Accubid and Bluebeam and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare accurate and timely electrical cost estimates.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and related documents.
• Use Accubid and Bluebeam to create detailed cost breakdowns.
• Develop comprehensive material and labor estimates.
• Obtain pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids.
• Present estimates clearly to management and clients.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.
• Maintain accurate estimating and bid records.
• Complete estimates in line with client expectations and company standards.
