Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our Machesney Park, IL manufacturing team. You will assemble electrical and mechanical components, wire control panels, and interpret blueprints to build high-quality industrial equipment.

The role welcomes both experienced assemblers and those with fresh electrical training, offering growth within a stable, team-oriented environment. Overtime opportunities may apply and the position is onsite.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, diagrams, and electrical schematics is required.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to pass an electrical assessment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• 6 months of manufacturing or production experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
• Perform electrical wiring, panel wiring, wire routing, and crimping.
• Complete machine and mechanical assembly tasks.
• Verify dimensions with SAE and metric tape measures.
• Troubleshoot and assist with repairs on electrical equipment.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Support production areas and maintain a safe workspace.
• Follow safety and quality standards.
