Job summary

ACS Manufacturing, with a growing footprint in Denison, TX and Abbeville, SC, seeks an Electrical Apprentice to help install electrical components within equipment enclosures. You will work under the supervision of electricians to support assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning.

Ideal candidates bring basic safety knowledge, math skills, ability to read a tape measure, and proficiency with electrical hand tools; willingness to bend conduit and adhere to codes and job specs.

Qualifications

• Basic safety knowledge.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Electrical hand tool knowledge and use.
• Knowledge of electrical materials (boxes, conduit, fittings, fasteners, wire).
• Ability to bend conduit (3/4” and 1/2”).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting with assembly, installation, wiring and testing of electrical equipment.
• Conduit bending, pulling wire, and hanging.
• Assist with installing light fixtures and switches.
• Follow safety standards and communicate effectively.
• Obey local, state, and federal regulations; general cleaning.
