Job summary

Arrowmac, a consumer goods design studio in Irvine, is seeking an Industrial Designer to lead product experiences from concept to production. Bring a strong aesthetic sensibility and a passion for innovation to cross-functional teams.

A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Product Design is required, with a standout portfolio. Proficiency in Rhino or SolidWorks, KeyShot, Photoshop and Illustrator, plus solid sketching and presentation skills, is expected. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, design problem-solving, and technical execution.
• Strong design sensibility with eye for aesthetics, form, proportion, detail, and harmony.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software such as Rhino or SolidWorks.
• Proficiency in KeyShot or comparable visualization software.
• Strong sketching, visual communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, including plastic injection molding.
• Familiarity with physical prototyping and iterative design development.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, research, and collaboration with teams at other locations.
