Qualifications

• GED/High School diploma.
• Manufacturing environment experience.
• 1–3 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Knowledge of woodworking tools and ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience hoisting and handling large industrial components or machinery.
• Familiarity with LTL/FTL, small parcel systems, and export documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build and rig crates, pallets, and skids for large blowers and vacuum systems.
• Rig, block, and brace equipment for transport using chains, slings, and hardware.
• Safely move and position equipment with hoists and material moving equipment.
• Protect components with shrink wrap, foam, desiccants, and corrosion inhibitors per shipping requirements.
• Operate carpentry and power tools safely; maintain tools and equipment.
• Assist with loading and securing heavy machinery for shipment and coordinate with logistics staff.
• Label and identify all crates/shipments per standards and safety rules.
• Document crating builds and suggest improvements to methods.
• Collect and dispose of construction wood daily.
• Serve as backup for shipping/receiving operations.
