Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational carpentry/industrial packaging preferred.
• 2+ years in crate building or industrial carpentry; manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with ISPM 15 packaging standards.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and packaging specifications to determine crate dimensions and construction requirements.
• Build custom wooden crates using hand and power tools, ensuring structural integrity and safety compliance.
• Incorporate internal bracing, cushioning, and moisture barriers to protect equipment.
• Label crates with handling instructions, part numbers, and destination details.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to meet shipping schedules.
• Maintain inventory of crate-building materials and report shortages or defects.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
