Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced crane operator for our Freeport, TX site. You will operate stationary or traveling cranes to lift, move, and position loads, ensure safety, and comply with NCCCO/NCCER certifications and site procedures.

Requirements include at least 5 years of industrial crane operation, a valid TWIC card, state driver’s license, and advance rigging certifications. The role is full-time, on-site with standard industrial safety expectations and equal opportunity

Qualifications

• Certification: NCCCO or NCCER, and a current state driver’s license.
• TWIC Card and Advance Rigging certifications.
• 5 years of operating equipment in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes with signals from rigger and maintain safe lifting operations.
• Inspect crane daily for safety issues and report any malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of equipment.
• Complete job tickets and service quality summaries.
• Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing during heavy lifts.
• Follow written or verbal instructions and maintain NCCCO/NCCER compliance.
