Cedar Point in Ohio is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain its control systems across rides and facilities. You will work as part of a team, using digital multimeters, PLCs, Allen Bradley drives, and related diagnostic tools to keep systems running safely and efficiently.

The role requires hands-on electrical and automation expertise, a union affiliation, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays to meet park operations needs.

Competenze

• Must join electrical union.
• Associate degree in industrial or robotic control systems preferred.
• High degree of computer literacy preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial control system experience preferred.
• Driver's License required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check as per company policy.

Mansioni

• Install and repair electrical systems.
• Calibrate equipment, design, inspect, and troubleshoot wiring, panels, glitches and other malfunctions.
• Diagnose and repair DC drive controllers and DC motors.
• Know how to use amp probe, digital volt meter, oscilloscope and other test equipment.
• Diagnose PLC (SLC500, PLC5, NUMA LOGIC, ControlLogix 5000, CompactLogix) and relay logic problems.
• Familiar with Allen Bradley, Icom software programs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems desirable.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and capable of drawing schematics.
• Follow standard control wiring practices and sensing devices.
• Other duties may be assigned.
