Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Process Controls Systems Integrator/Programmer in the Phoenix, AZ area. The role develops, deploys, and commissions PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems across projects from design to FAT, startup, and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of industrial controls programming experience, hands-on PLC/HMI/SCADA proficiency, and strong ability to troubleshoot automation networks with cybersecurity awareness.

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in industrial controls programming, systems integration, automation, or control panel design.
Hands-on PLC, HMI, and/or SCADA programming experience.
Strong understanding of industrial control systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
Review control system drawings, specifications, control narratives, and documentation.
Configure industrial networks, telemetry systems, and communications infrastructure.
Implement cybersecurity measures for industrial control systems.
Participate in FAT, startup, commissioning, and field testing activities.
Create and maintain operations, maintenance, and project documentation.
Provide operator training and technical support.
Assist with equipment selection, procurement, and project execution.
Support QA/QC processes, code reviews, version control, and as-built documentation.
Develop and maintain programming standards, templates, and reusable libraries.
Manage programming-related deliverables for assigned projects.
