Job summary
GH Induction Atmospheres LLC in Rochester, NY is seeking an Electrical/Controls Engineer to design control systems, prepare electrical schematics, bill of materials, and hardware specs. You will program interfaces and coordinate with customers and vendors.
Requirements include an associates or BS in Electrical Engineering/Controls, at least 3 years in industrial electrical/controls engineering, strong troubleshooting, and willingness to travel. Salary ranges 65K–100K DOE.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in electrical engineering/technology or BS in related field.
- Minimum 3 years in electrical/controls engineering of industrial systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to travel when required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs.
- Size drives, relays, power supplies and contactors.
- Create data sheets and operation sequences.
- Obtain technical information from suppliers.
- Recommend feasible, regulation-compliant control solutions.
- Interface with sales, mechanical, build, service and suppliers.
- Ensure designs meet customer and government codes.
- Pursue continuous improvement in processes and products.
