  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements applicable to industrial automation.
  • Availability to travel to customers domestic and Canada without restrictions up to 25% over a calendar year.
  • Current passport required or new application completed within 30 days of hire and protective footwear required at employee expense.

Responsibilities

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - (PLC) CONTROLS ENGINEER - AUTOMATION CONTROLS ENGINEER

HERCO is looking for a results-oriented, self-starter who can develop efficient PLC code from scratch and commission units into production. You'll be working alongside HERCO's mechanical engineers and service technicians. HERCO creates new and existing capital equipment for the die-cast sector in the automotive manufacturing industry. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-years experience in industrial controls engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience with PLC programming and configuration (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent).

  • Familiar building electrical panels and troubleshooting controls systems.
