Job summary

Graycor is seeking a Project-based Safety Manager to guide the project management team in implementing the zero injury safety system at job sites in Middletown, Ohio. You will conduct safety inspections, oversee safety personnel, and report safety program compliance to management.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of safety engineering experience, strong report writing, and effective communication skills. Relocation for project duration may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of safety engineering or related experience.
• Experience in both construction management and direct hire projects.
• Strong computer skills and ability to facilitate training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular job inspections and report findings.
• Implement the site-specific safety program.
• Conduct safety training and orientations.
• Investigate and report injuries and near misses.
• Coordinate safety-related equipment acquisition.
