Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. seeks a Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent for Industrial projects. You will support scheduling, coordinate field teams, and manage site documentation to ensure quality and safety across all activities.

The role requires 2–5 years in commercial construction, a degree in construction/engineering/business is preferred, and proficiency with MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam. Strong communication and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction, including GC exposure.
• Tenant renovations, service work, and work in occupied spaces are a plus.
• Project lead experience is beneficial.
• Mastery of project software and tools (MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam) is expected.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Able to walk/stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to articulate complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support project manager in formulating the project schedule and ensure proper installation sequences.
• Maintain HITT quality standards across all project aspects.
• Foster good relationships with subcontractors and communities to support opportunities.
• Ensure accurate daily documentation of work orders and identify issues early.
• Organize site team, arrange facilities/utilities, and identify long lead items for expediting.
