Job summary

• Work with OPC UA, Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, MQTT, REST interfaces.

Develop and maintain the connectivity layer that enables Vitesse to communicate with industrial equipment, automation systems, robots, sensors, and enterprise software across diverse operational environments. The ideal candidate has a strong appetite for reverse-engineering, and is unafraid to hack into — and even break — equipment in order to understand and develop its capabilities better than its creators.

• Build connectors for PLCs, robots, CNCs, SCADA, MES, historians, and IoT platforms.
• Ensure reliable, deterministic communication.
• Support both legacy and modern industrial systems.

Protocols

• OPC UA, Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP.
• MTConnect, FOCAS.
• MQTT, REST, and vendor-specific APIs.

Desired experience
