Mullins Mechanical, a leading contractor in Starkville, MS, seeks an experienced Commercial Plumber to join our team and support industrial and large commercial projects. You will read blueprints, install and assemble plumbing systems, and travel regionally to jobsites while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to complete background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

Must have valid state drivers license.
Background check and drug screen required.
Willingness to travel regionally to jobsites.
Experience in commercial plumbing is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and building specs to map pipe layouts and plumbing systems.
Install pipes and fixtures, including sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, or other liquids.
Install supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation.
Assemble fittings and valves for installation.
Modify lengths of pipes and fixtures as needed and read drawings to implement specs.
Read, interpret, and implement drawings and specifications; knowledge of electrical codes is beneficial.
Travel regionally to jobsites; reliable transportation required.
Plan, manage and close out multiple projects with limited supervision.
