Job summary

Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET) is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. The role emphasizes mentoring apprentices, reading blueprints, and ensuring compliance with NEC and site guidelines.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, a valid Journeyman card (WA OR equivalent), and be able to travel up to 25% or more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• WA EL01 Journeyman card or OR General Journeyman card required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability to drive company vehicles required.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Facial hair standards may apply per OSHA Respiratory Protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment for job duties.
• Mentor apprentices and collaborate with team on-site.
• Read blueprints, drawings and diagrams to plan electrical installations.
• Install/maintain electrical systems, conduits, and equipment in industrial and commercial settings.
• Ensure NEC and local codes, and site rules compliance; prepare inspection records and documentation.
• Travel as needed (~25% or more); participate in site coordination meetings and teamwork.
