Vortex Doors in Lenexa, KS is hiring an Industrial & Commercial Door Service Mechanic to install, service, and adjust a wide range of commercial door systems.

You will repair springs, hinges, locks, and operators, set door hardware, and verify building code compliance while delivering top-tier customer service and accurate site documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of commercial door experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of door types, brands, and hardware is a plus.
• Comfortable with hand/power tools; accurate with a tape measure and fractions.
• Excellent troubleshooting, math, and communication skills.
• Quality-focused; follows safety procedures and standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs; bend and lift repeatedly; climb ladders up to 20’; work on knees for extended periods; and operate power tools proficiently.
• Continual training provided for ongoing development.

Work Hours
