Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an industrial coating role (equipment experience a plus).
• General mechanical skills required.
• Able to work overtime on short notice.
• Able to use painting equipment and hand/power tools.
• Able to read and interpret safety data sheets and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute work per KSB GIW Inc. policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per health/safety laws.
• Support Florida Service Center operations, locate and prep parts for coating and assembly.
• Measure chemicals for processes including paint and urethane mixtures.
• Mix chemicals using viscosity, thickness, gloss gauges and ratios per formulas.
• Select appropriate paint/urethane to meet procedures.
• Prepare components for shipping with data tags and corrosion protection.
• Maintain inventory for paint department and ensure housekeeping.
• Operate and monitor equipment; train and assist colleagues as needed.
• Adhere to quality standards and health/safety policies.
