Girsberger AG is offering a comprehensive apprenticeship for industrial clerks in the United States and Germany. Over three years, apprentices will gain experience in key areas such as purchasing, marketing, customer service, and financial accounting.
With the minimum prerequisite being the German 'Mittlere Reife', interested candidates should enjoy commercial activities, possess strong organizational and mathematical skills, and be reliable. Apprentices will attend Carl-Helbling-Schule vocational college.
As Girsberger is an internationally active company, the basic training we offer our apprentice industrial clerks is very comprehensive. In three years our apprentices gain experience in almost all work processes relevant to their training: purchasing, marketing and sales, customer services, financial accounting – as well as production planning and management. They also learn about freight handling and customs clearance, and spend a week working at the head office in Switzerland.
If you are interested in commercial activities and business processes, enjoy speaking to people and have a flair for language, like organizing things, are good at maths, are reliable, and have the ability to work independently, this apprenticeship may be for you. The minimum prerequisite for the apprenticeship is the German "Mittlere Reife" (general education school leaving certificate after grade 10), while the recommended qualification is the "Berufskollegium" vocational college certificate or the "Abitur" (comparable to the International Baccalaureate).
You'll attend Carl-Helbling-Schule vocational college in Emmendingen for 1 or 2 days a week, and you'll have organized preparation courses for your final examination, a practical intermediate examination halfway through your apprenticeship, and a final examination on topics that correspond to your activities in the company.
