Job summary

Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC is seeking an Industrial Cleaning Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and can provide exceptional service to our company, clients, and employees. Responsibilities include operating vacuum trucks, hydro blasting with high-pressure water, cleaning tanks, and working in confined spaces, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The role requires physical stamina, on-call availability, and adherence to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to be insured under company insurance plan required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in roles involving intensive physical activity, including repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50lbs), prolonged standing, bending, climbing, and working in a demanding physical environment for extended periods of time.
• Regular on-call availability is required as part of this role. This may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Required to meet facial hair standards in accordance with OSHAs Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles as required for job duties, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Operation of different heavy duty work-related equipment, including but not limited to high pressure pumps, vacuum trucks, different industrial cleaning agents, etc.
• Consistently wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary in accordance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Responsible for adherence to safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, in relations to but not limited to operations, safety, equipment, emergency response.
• Inspect surface cleaned to ensure compliance with company and customer expectations.
• Remain professional and represent the company well, great customer service required.
• Works as a team participant along with maintenance staff to ensure the team meets quality standards set by company.
• Test machinery and equipment as needed.
• Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Remain up to date on all safety training and mill trainings, mostly completed on an annual basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Must be 18 years or older

Minimum 2 years’ experience in physically demanding roles

Regular on-call availability (nights, weekends, holidays)

OSHA Respiratory Protection facial hair standards (29 CFR 1910.34)
