Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services is seeking an Industrial Janitorial Manager to lead cleaning operations in an industrial plant. You will supervise staff, manage daily schedules, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met while maintaining efficient operations.

This role requires strong leadership, the ability to train employees on procedures and PPE, and coordination with production, maintenance, safety, and management teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous industrial janitorial or facility-services experience.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage janitorial operations.
• Create employee schedules and assign daily cleaning responsibilities.
• Inspect production areas, warehouses, offices, restrooms, and other facility areas.
• Ensure cleaning is completed according to company standards and schedules.
• Train employees on cleaning procedures, equipment, chemicals, and workplace safety.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
• Manage cleaning supplies, chemicals, tools, and equipment inventory.
• Order supplies and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Monitor employee attendance, performance, productivity, and work quality.
• Address employee performance and workplace issues professionally.
• Coordinate cleaning activities with production, maintenance, safety, and management teams.
• Maintain cleaning logs, inspection reports, schedules, and other required documentation.
• Respond to spills, emergency cleaning situations, and special cleaning projects.
• Help control labor costs, overtime, and departmental expenses.
• Ensure the facility remains clean, sanitary, organized, and safe.
