**Job Description:****POSITION SUMMARY**The position performs physical labor at Industrial Cleaning construction project sites. Labor may include cleaning tanks, working with vacuumtrucks, and performing hydro blasting.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**· Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor at construction project sites.· Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings any concerns to the attention of theproject Foreman, Superintendent, General Superintendent, Safety Director or Management.· Works with industrial cleaning and hydro blasting equipment including vacuum trucks.· Cleans process equipment.· Maintains a clean job site at all times. Picks up all material, tools, and small equipment and secure job site each day in order toeliminate potential hazards.· Responsible for material handling and storage.· Performs cleaning of storage tanks and working in industrial sites.· Keeps project foreman, superintendent, or general superintendent informed of known actions, written or verbal, which mayaffect the ability to successfully perform tasks at construction project sites or adversely affect Company operations.· Other projects or duties as assigned by a supervisor.**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**This is a union based role.The base salary range may vary depending on geographic location, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience.· Five years of industrial cleaning experience strongly preferred.· Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) License.· Medical card for operating a DOT vehicle.· Ability to wear a respirator.· 40-hour HAZWOPER, confined space entry, OSHA-30, and First Aid/CPR certifications required.· Knowledge and ability to work with equipment, materials, and supplies found in construction work.· Demonstrated knowledge of applicable safety precautions and procedures and ability to follow proper use and safetyguidelines.· Ability to view and understand Veit’s safety training video.· Willingness and ability to perform manual work.· Good communication skills both oral and written when working with all levels of management and employees, externalvendors and other business associates.· Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.· Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages ratios, and proportionsto practical situations.· Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency as required by management and/or projectrequirements.**OTHER**Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. · Position requires 8 to 12-hour workdays and occasional weekends, as needed.
