Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Industrial Cleaner to perform cleaning tasks in an industrial environment under the terms of the customer contract. The Industrial Cleaner reports issues to the supervisor or manager as needed.

Openings exist for full-time positions on all shifts, including Monday–Friday and weekend shifts. No prior experience is required beyond six months; on-the-job training is provided. Diversified Maintenance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and recycling.
• Clean entire restroom by utilizing disinfectants and bathroom cleaners, restock restroom supplies as needed, remove trash, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, sweep and/or wet mop floors.
• Clean the plant floor and machinery
• Keep closets clean, neat, and orderly
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs

Job Description

Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Industrial Cleaner. The Industrial Cleaner performs cleaning related tasks as outlined in the contract between the company and the customer in an Industrial environment. The Industrial Cleaner reports any problems, or suspicious activity to the appropriate supervisor or manager.

Schedule

• Full Time
• Openings on all shifts
• Monday - Friday
• Weekend Only shifts

Pay Rate

$13.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and recycling
• Clean entire restroom by utilizing disinfectants and bathroom cleaners, restock restroom supplies as needed, remove trash, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, sweep and/or wet mop floors.
• Clean the plant floor and machinery

• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position
• On the job training will be provided
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions effectively

Preferred Qualifications (nice To Have)

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
• Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
