MPW Industrial Services is seeking a dependable Technician to support MPW FEM operations with hands-on industrial cleaning and labor tasks across multiple job sites. The role emphasizes safety, accountability, and teamwork in fast-paced environments.

You will operate manual tools, assist with onboarding, and maintain documentation while upholding MPW safety standards and company policies. This position offers growth opportunities within a stable, team-oriented organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform continuous physical labor during 8–12 hour shifts.
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed, including out-of-state assignments for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at assigned job sites on time and maintain a professional, respectful attitude toward coworkers and customers.
• Perform industrial cleaning and labor support tasks as directed by team leaders, supervisors, or account managers.
• Operate manual tools and production-related equipment safely and efficiently to support job completion.
• Monitor work processes to ensure quality standards and operational efficiency are consistently met.
• Identify and report equipment issues, safety concerns, or process problems to the team leader immediately.
• Maintain work areas, equipment, and break spaces in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
• Complete required daily documentation, including shift summaries, logs, and inventory reports as requested.
• Assist with on-the-job training and support onboarding of new employees or transferred team members.
• Follow all company policies, employee handbook guidelines, and supervisor instructions.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and MPW safety standards in all work activities.
• Communicate job progress, issues, and updates clearly to supervisors and team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some high school education acceptable
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and equipment operation in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and perform continuous physical labor throughout 8–12 hour shifts
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces, at varying heights, and in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and weather conditions; must be able to wear required PPE including respirators
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed, including out-of-state assignments for extended periods, and work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, and extended shifts
