ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking Industrial Cleaners to maintain clean and orderly spaces in our facilities. The role features weekend hours (8:00 am – 4:30 pm) and an hourly wage of $17.51, with a full benefits package for full-time employees.

No prior cleaning experience is required; candidates should be team players who prioritize safety and customer service. Responsibilities include floor care, bathroom cleaning, and general upkeep across North & South plant areas.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned areas (offices, spaces, and facilities) to maintain a neat, safe environment.
• Follow instructions from Cleaning Lead, Supervisor, or Manager and coordinate with other departments.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools to clean floors, walls, bathrooms, and breakrooms.
• Assist with punch-list items and support shift lead during busy periods.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct consistent with company standards.

Work Hours

The work hours for this position are Weekends Only, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Key Purpose

Industrial Cleaners keep assigned areas, such as offices, commercial spaces, industrial spaces, or institutional buildings, in clean and orderly condition. You will work successfully with fellow employees, clients, and all levels of the organization. You are expected to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written; and explain how to complete a task using basic communication skills.

Ideal Candidate Experience

Key Accountabilities

• Cleaning of all “Greenway areas” (North & South plant)
• Cleaning of main aisle ways via industrial ride on scrubber (North & South plant)
• Cleaning of bathroom & breakroom floors via walk-behind scrubber (North & South Plant)
• Cleaning, stripping, buffing and waxing of floors in office spaces, and break areas (North & South plant)
• Cleaning and dust control of “Yellow guard/hand rails” (North & South plant)
• Deep cleaning/ carpet extracting as needed in offices and conference rooms (North & South plant)
• Cleaning of walls in both the “south plant employee entrance and tunnel”
• Vacuuming
• Edging
• Dusting
• Cleaning and stocking restrooms and breakrooms
• Window cleaning
• Emptying trash and transporting to proper disposal area
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• May perform other duties as assigned
