Job summary

The Budd Group is hiring an Industrial Cleaner to maintain a safe, clean environment at an automotive assembly plant. Pay is $20.00 per hour with full-time evening schedules: Thursday through Sunday and additional shift coverage in the evenings.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding cleaning tasks.
• Must complete safety training (Ladder, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout).
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Comfort working in hot/dirty conditions with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Clean Paint Booth Stations and surrounding areas using approved chemicals and high-pressure washers (5K).
• Scrape windows, wipe down walls, replace ceiling filters, and apply protective plastic or aluminum foil in booth areas.
• Lift metal flooring grates, clean beneath them, and clear out oven and flood sheet areas.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance like changing robot covers and grease applications.
• Safely climb ladders and navigate confined spaces during heavy-duty cleaning routines.
