Job summary

AdvanSix is recruiting for a manufacturing role in our Virginia facility. The position involves adhering to standard procedures to ensure safety, quality, and production targets while performing instrument readings and troubleshooting equipment variations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years in industrial/manufacturing or chemical plants, with 1 year Chemical Operations preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 2 years minimum experience in an industrial/manufacturing and/or chemical plant industry.
• 1 year Chemical Operations background strongly preferred.
• Ability to work on a 12 hour rotating shift schedule.
• Ability to operate a fork truck.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform the physical labor required.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver a safe work space by following standard work.
• Ability to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to standard work and standard operating procedures to ensure unit safety, quality and production goals are met.
• Interpret readings on various equipment, assess variations and take action to restore standard conditions.
