Job summary

Requirements include a High School/Trade School education and 3–5 years of related experience; an electrician license is preferred.

Qualifications

HS/Trade school diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of related experience.
Electrician license preferred.
Must be capable of understanding basic electronics, reading prints, and calibrating units from test procedures.

Responsibilities

Calibrate, maintain and repair electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment used in the manufacturing of clad metal strip products.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair operating systems as necessary.
Observe, monitor and record status of utility equipment when required.
Make routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work needed to prevent breakdowns.
Assist operators in routine maintenance procedures.
Operate forklifts, high lifts, scissors lift, and ladders as needed.
Maintain records of scheduled and emergency maintenance procedures.
Perform a variety of maintenance tasks.
Maintain acceptable housekeeping in work areas.
Other duties as required.
