Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in blasting/painting environment preferred.
• Proficient in modern painting techniques and equipment, and knowledge of industrial paints, primers, and thinners.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate blasting and cleaning techniques for surface preparation prior to coating.
• Abrade metal surfaces to remove rust, paint and debris to achieve the specified finish.
• Load parts on racks or into cabinets for blasting and cleaning.
• Operate blasting equipment and adjust pressures and nozzle flow as needed.
• Disassemble and maintain blasting equipment; ensure proper PPE is used at all times.
